Here is what's left of the outer lower quarter. It is very thin and will be cut out after Christmas. At least now there is something behind it to weld onto..
Now you know why new cars do not have metal behind the wheels, and whatever is there is plastic..

Sheeesh. . .already he's hiden the Bondo
This is not the place to say it, but I am afraid the Polaraco won't be done by the weekend. It took Bob twice as long to make the headliner than he thought. He figured he'd have the head liner in today, Top Wednesday. We are having the glass company come Thursday to put the glass back in. So the top will have to be on and the head liner will have to be at least in the car. We can't get it in with the glass in the car! I guess if it was a hard top we'd be OK. Bob has constructed a one piece flat head liner. It is fit around a over head console out of a Dodge Carivan. You'll see. When I get the pictures up, you all are going to want to ship your car to Bob for the interiors. Please do. The man is the best of the best. Even though he says not. To flippen modest. By the way, Bob is getting a new Web site. There's nothing to show yet, but in a week or two, there will be. Then you'll REALLY want ot ship your car out here.
You know I am just teasing you. . You are doing a great job. !thumb !thumb !thumb !thumb If I had a garage I could work in, I could do all that too. Doing that work outside, stinks. I had a real tough time with the Polaraco doing what little I planned to do.

Thanks,Polaraco.I know yer just goofing around.Give Stitcher time and a good job will be the end result.I'm not rushing things. I work hard and pay through the nose to have this place.I love it though.I always wanted a garage to work in-a lifetime dream come true for sure.

Broke the ribs in a fall at the house. Freak accident while moving furniture for steam cleaning the carpet. !stars The compression fracture is an old injury I found out yesterday at the Doc. But the ribs are taking a long time to heal. I have a 4mm cartelige separation between the broken ribs which is taking the longest to heal. Surgery might be required but I am hoping not. Good news is that my disability rating with the VA is now over 60% which will help at retirement. Other than that, the cars are bed down for the rainy season here in Nthern CA. Just little work in parts resto. By spring all will be better....cr8crshr/Bill !thumb

THANK YOU POLARACO! I did not expect you to post the video. I really do appreciate it.I will consider it a Christams gift!! LOL!!
I had not had her running for months and with the cooler temperatures it was necessary to add antifreeze and run it.Good news is the freeze plugs and exhaust do not leak anymore. A big bonus is the heater works too!! The selctor selects, and heat blows in the car. Boy! she sure needs a tune up! But I will worry about that in the spring!! Cheers! Leaburn
