UPDATE! Since I have a few days off from work I got to make more progress on the car. Ray came over today and the driver's floor is oficcialy completed!! YAY! It is in primer tonight and tomorrow I will paint.I got a couple of custom made spray bombs in PPG single stage MM1 paint.I even tested it on the inner fender just to check the match--it is perfect!! A special Thanks to Perry at Autparts Extra for cooking up the batch!!
As I was prepping the floors I discovered more peppered holes on th passenger side!! ARRGGH! Right where the seat bolts to the floor it was blown out.I carefully drilled out the spot welds and cut out the rotted metal. As much as I hate doing it--I am getting better at it!! Ray even let me try welding--I'm not ready yet based on the blobs I left!! LOL!!
Pics to follow..

All in all there are twelve pieces in the driver's floor alone.A lot of work.It would not be possible without Ray's and Rusty's help.Thanks,guys.

Just the areas that will not see daylight after she is all together. The car-when ready to paint-will be done by a professional with base/clear. The cans are single stage-good enough for the floors, firewall, inner fenders, door jams, etc. BTW,a lot of schtuff on the NY'er was done with spray bombs--and look how it turned out!
