I finished up the driver's floor pan (lotsa grinding) and Ray has the right rear dog leg in place. The car actually feels a lot more solid. No more wavy quarters or peppered floors. Cheers! You're a CAD! You break my butt about Pics of the Polaraco, but I really don't have much to show just yet. When you see it next week, it will be the Finally. Sounds like you ground off 500 pounds so far.
So the tide turns. Where's the pics???? !nana !nana !nana !nana

Steve,I will post some pics later.I am thinking abbout changing photo hosts.Photobucket takes too long to upload. Many times it has to be redone.I always get the "Error.Cannot find...." Sometimes I only get 75% of the pic (like the one of my house).
We got into a groove Saturday and did not stop to take any pics--I just wanted to get things done! BRB with pics...

Not exactly the prettiest, but solid and firm.As shown before,I can now hang a skirt on her now..Along with the new dogleg, this is the backbone for when we hang the outer quarter panel skin.
Remember, there was nothing here before! A big Thanks !thumb go out to Ray for fabricating, and Rusty for letting me borrow his specialty tools. !thumb !thumb [ Edited Mon Dec 11 2006, 09:04PM ]

Bill, that is the old rusty quarter still in place--or what's left of it.I also test fitted the trim to make sure of the correct angle.A little off but it will close up with fresh metal. Not to worry, when this dogleg gets sealed up the outer skin should just fall into place. I have a neighbour who has a spot welder I can borrow.I have a 240 line in the garage.I just have to buy a plug to fit his welder. He said to call him over when I'm ready!! I love my neighbourhood!! !banana !banana
