Now that the Part One is locked up I am starting part Deux! August 30th,2007.
http://www.cbodydrydock.com/forum_viewtopic.php?5.23682.0 More welding was done last weekend. We may still need another 3-4 days worth of welding before I can realy make some changes on the car.. I also went down the Clayton,New York to piuck up my 26" rad core support I got from Moeparson. It is in great shape. It was bent in shipping but it is minor and is repairable-no biggie. While I was at Jack Forkey's I also scored the propr shroud--for ten bux!!! He had the 26" rad but it was damages by the tow truck drive who dropped the car off (Arrgh! ) Other than that things are slowly moving ahead-either on the car or behind the scenes! TTFN

I'm glad you got your support in time for the assembly. I'm going to use mine from the 300 for the VOAB. The one in the VOAB is a 21" but it's bent. Apparently this car got popped in 3 places. Doesn't seem to be any frame damage anywhere.
I can say, someone didn't know how to drive or was drunk all the time.
Keep up the good work Lea.
Oh since this is a new thread. . . . Is it done yet? !nana

Not to worry. It could have been worse if the extra parts on it were not there at all. It is easily repairable.Got to make it fit the car anyways.
Anyhoo, the purpose of the trip was to send down Polaraco's parts and also retrieve parts of my own. Here is just a short list of FREE used parts from other dockers: I would like to thank all who had contributed.I really do appreciate it. RBrogle:front and rear shocks Hotrodnwillie gas tank, sending unit Polaraco right side rear view mirror, turnsignal switch & stalk, spare exhaust manifolds, flotsam&jetsom. Cost of traveling, aproximately $300.00 Cost of lodging for one night, work on Mobby's car Cost of parts-free Finally get to meet everybody--- priceless
On the way back to Canuckville,I thought it would be nice to drive down again--but in the BoaB when she is completed.
Even Stitcherbob had an old '67 Imperial dash bezel lying around he gave me.I passed it on to Rusty who has a '68. Bob,Rusty says THANKS! !thumb His wiper switch has been acting up on him so the parts will be put to use.
