Yea, that sure is nasty work. I would strongly reccommend cutting the floor out under the backseat that is right above the frame rail. That frame area had to be completely replaced on mine and I am pretty sure that yours would benefit from a good cleaning and some POR 15. !thumb

I blew out all the crud from the frame rail last year and sprayed rust convertor in there quite heavy. !stars .Luckily the frame rail there is in really good shape-just looks bad-but not for long.. .I repaired the floors and are already painted so cutting is not an option

Looking good in the trunk area. Im in the process of redoing mine I also had to do under the back seat like rusty. It looks like you'vre got one less job to do

Thanks,Ed.Lots of prep work, but it will be worth it in the end,for sure. I catch myself thinking there is a better way or a short cut-but I have gone so far and in this deep I may as well do it right.. That way I can drive the car with confidence knowing it will not rust out in a short time.

Like last year at this time,my work is at its busiest time. Not much happening on the car itself.I have been gathering up parts and lurching o E bay again.Ray has been pre-occupied with his new house and also having to deal with the loss of his Grandma. (My condolences,Ray) I scored this air cleaner cheap! $80.00 shipping included! Thanks to Bubba from Georgia,I can use this with my 750 Eddy carb and look "factory" correct..It will get glass bead blasted and repainted when the time comes..
Should look nice with this underneath it..

I scored this ultra hard to find piece on E-pay. NOS NEVER USED!! Mine was broken and I searched every yard I went to the past 2 years and either they were wrong color or broken. !stars Little schtuff is what will make the car,IMHO..

Another E bay score is the NOS vacuum advance .It is for a 440,but since I am going 4 bbl on the 383 a little more advance is a good thing.Should work and also look "period" correct. Anybody know if this has the "allen key" adjustment in it?? part # 2642780
