Very Impressive. I had always heard that surgery to the floor was required to provide clearance for the OD, but like you say, it appears to fit in a C body without any mods.

I am thinking about how to incorporate a switch in the dash to wire up the OD . HHmmm.Does your car have rear defog?? If so do you use it at all?? then use that switch for the OD. If not rear defog equipped, locate a faceplate and switch--or use the Hazard switch. Just brainstorming

Looking good.... !thumb
I agree with leaburn...re-using a factory dash switch to keep things "hidden" would be what I'd prefer to do but it's your car.....
I've heard you need to run a pretty stout tranny cooler to compensate for the added heat generated by the OD unit...what are you doing to address this???

I like that idea and will probably do something similar. In my '65 Pontiac, I used the rear defogger switch to run my electric fan relay. I'm a big fan of keeping the interior stock looking, which is why I wanted those 3-speaker dash grilles! !thumb In fact, in my Pontiac, I'm going to take out my under dash radio and install an amp in the trunk to my 6X9's that will be plugged into a portable MP3 player so I can just hide the jack and wire under the seat when I don't want it to be seen!

Oh yeah, I've got a tranny cooler too. [ Edited Mon Dec 22 2008, 11:14PM ]
