Can anybody get me a place to locate or at least a part number for the rear most quarter window roller for a 1965 Dodge Polara 2 door hardtop. Its a plastic roller on a steel ball joint on a square bushing. (if that makes sense) The plastic square guide is broken. I will attempt to post photos. Any info you may have on availability or a direction to search in is greatly appreciated.

I think that is the same part that someone on the other C-body board is looking for as well. He has a 1966 Chrysler 2-door hardtop. If you find a source for replacements, please keep us posted!
BTW, what is the broken square piece made of, nylon? How did the ball originally fit into the socket? Did it just press and "snap" into place?

Yes they originaly just snapped in but they are almost impossible to pop back out...at least in my dealings.
More then likely they are a very similar piece to what is used in A/B/E-bodies so if you do a luttle research on-line I bet you can find something that will work.
I am not sure what years/models. I do know that 65-66 Polara and Monacos are the same. I looked at a four door today and no go. Has to be a 2 door hardtop model.
For what its worth, I went to the salvage yard and tore the crap out of a B-body Coronet 500 today and no dice. Different assembly. [ Edited Mon Jan 05 2009, 10:22PM ]
