Not much more progress, but I did pick up a remanufactured steering box for about $120, cleaned some stuff up and pretty much decided I need the Just Suspension upper control arms. I'm letting it snowball a little... this could get dangerous.
It sure is going to handle awesome when it's done though! And I need to decide what I want to do for brakes. I got an old Scarebird conversion but IIRC it told me to use GM disks. That ain't gonna happen! Need to look at the kit again, it's the older version.

I removed the tail housing and put on the GV adapter. Decided not to actually bolt the unit to the adapter until it's in the car. That was probably a good idea considering the constraints of my working environment! I didn't want to damage the OD! !nervous
Now I have to bolt the GVOD on the back, have the driveshaft shortened, re-install the engine harness, front end metal, get exhaust, etc.... !stars <span class='smallblacktext'>[ Edited Sun Nov 23 2008, 10:21PM ]</span>
