Hey Snotty, it HAS gotten a little chilly recently, hasn't it
Currently it's 53 Degrees with cloudy skies and 16mph winds at Fresno...brrrrrrr! Time to break out a coat!
My problems are; 1. I have parts I got from Ebay waiting to be picked up in SE Idaho 2. I need to move my 300 South from Modesto to Fresno, and AFAIK the thing AIN'T road-worthy 3. I'm going to have to have body work and upholstery work done, and I'm NOT comfortable in dealing with those m'self 4. My ride will be parked in my designated parking space when I get it to where I'm at, BUT, it's at an apt. complex

Mark You can rent a trailer from Ryder, but you need to rent a truck from them too as a package. When I didn't own a car trailer, I rented one from the local trailer dealer. If you have a 3/4 ton, you can haul it yourself. They'll rent you a hitch and all. But if you don't have a truck, go the Ryder route. If you can, get a diesel truck though. Fuel is more expensive, but you get twice the fuel economy
U-Haul has them too. But be prepared to drop a lung with them. The charge you for the tail lights. You may still need a truck or you can rent one of their death traps

Steve, one thing about those rental trailers, and I've researched this recently, is the trailers themselves usually have a load rate of no MORE than 4000lbs. I'm pretty sure my car is more than that, based on what I've learned. In addition, the length of the trailer MIGHT be a bit tight for our luxurious C-boats...I mean, c'mon...124" Wheel base?!
My '67 300 is spec's to be 223.4" OVERALL length! HOO-AH!

Hey Mob, usually those wild fire are So-Cal...and the 'quakes haven't been bad for at LEAST 12 years (Northridge in So-Cal...prior to THAT, Loma Prieta in San Jose/SF Bay Area, was 1989..now THAT one was FUN, as long as you didn't live in SF).
But I'm spoiled, being a native. Hell, I got to experience snow in Ohio last month, when visiting a grand-uncle in Sandusky...bleh!! [ Edited Sat Feb 18 2006, 03:29AM ]
