At least you have a garage to put it in. Even if I COULD get it in, I wouldn't be able to close the door! My garage was built in the days of the model A! When I rebuilt it 10 years ago, I had to keep the same size to stay with the town codes. Living on a postage stamp, on a hill no less, stinks! But many a car has been down that driveway with numerous large successful restos or refurbs done. You learn to deal with it.
That's my Woe

Man, I feel a bit luckier now; I've got a 1-car garage, and the car barely fits in it, but there's at least 1 or 2 feet of space around the whole thing to walk.

Because of the lack of storage, I put one of thse anti-rust devices on it. That works. . . . At least you have two feet. The fury would stick out two feet. Not cool when you're trying to heat the garage. . . . .
I forgot to add, so I fill it with equipment, tools and a warehouse of all the hard to get parts.
Just so you all know, I'll have a rebuilt 71 Fury 3 for sale at the end of the summer. No EFI though. . . . .

1. My '68 300 is my daily driver because my other cars are in various states of upgrades/repair... it gets 7 mpg. 2. The 300 needs some serious work like a new transmission because mine has metal shavings and requires "warm-up" time before it will move anywhere. Oh, and leaks like a seive. 3. Engine uses oil, leaks some, and has a small exhaust gasket leak but seems to run pretty well otherwise. 4. No tunes 5. Need to get rust holes in rear window channel repaired 6. Bodywork needed 7. "300" Pads on doorpanels shrank and are sticking out 8. Only window that works reliably is the small rear driver's side one 9. Bondo on rear 1/4 panel filling a hole fell out so you can see into the trunk 10. Won't do a burnout with 275mm tires. This engine's got to go.

1) 2-car garage 2) Newport fits with two feet to spare front to back 3) Gremlin parked next to it 4) Plenty of room for washer, dryer, freezer, water heater, tools, Christmas stuff, cabinets filled with magazines, bowling balls 5) 73* weather yesterday. 6) As I said, life is good!!!
My house was built in 64, but none of the cars from that era fit in the garage. So I have to rent space for it and bring it to the house to work on it and take it back at night. Or if I am lucky, my parents travel alot and I can leave it in their garage to work on it.
