I know they are straightforward, but Ive never used them and the internet doesnt talk to you... someone educate me on these. I see the dual feed adapters, but nothing like I want to use. Im putting a holley 12-803 after my fuel pump to regulate my fuel pressure since its pushing 9 psi on my holley 3310 750 vac sec dual feed, and I would like to make a set up like this. Are these crimped? threaded? pieced together? kits available?

those look like push lock to me. I used that stuff when I converted to EFI and while it costs more it's so much easier than dealing with braided line and traditional fittings IMO.

Are the hexes on the fittings standard Imperial or metric sizes? In the AN section of speed parts catalogs I've seen special "AN wrenches". Do you need those to work with AN?

Fittings are american and you dont need the an wrenches.never needed anything but regular wrenches in 30 yrs.there are alot of brands of fittings,i prefer aeroquip, but all will work.

Those are AN fittings though they are the less expensive push-on type.
For 'real' AN fittings....after years of allegiance to Earl's I finally stopped buying them and now use Aeroquip or similar. I think the Earl's are 'better' but the cutter design they use is such a PITA to get right, plus it usually results in a fitting that can't be reused. The Aeroquip design is faster to assemble right and you can almost reuse the fittings.
I got a handful of 'push on' fittings, and im going to use new fuel line and a few hose clamps, I will show yall the results in about an hour or so when Im done.
but while Im getting started, the old holley bowl fitting has a spring and a filter media, neither or which fit in the new AN fitting adapter for the bowls. is this ok to ditch? it doesnt seem incredibly important aside from filtration, cant really say about the spring except maybe to keep the filter in place. Ive already got an inline fuel filter that will be feeding the regulator.
