If that is your setup you are planning to use, it's all wrong. The hose you are using does not look like push-on hose, it looks like normal parts house hose. In any case, you don't use hose clamps with push-on fittings.
and in spite of the above elaborated fact that im using gates fuel line instead of 6an push on, and mildly tightened hose clamps, please let me now what else is wrong since ive never used these fittings before, dont want a problem, and apparently, every last thing you see is wrong.

What you are doing is not wrong per say, its just that typical an fittings do not use clamps to provide a leak free seal. Push loc hose would go with your nascar vibe cuz i see alot of it used in nascar.do it your way if thats whAt you like

I would like to point out that running fuel line over exhaust manifolds could prove to be quite dangerous. Your setup has been used over and over and is pretty typical but better AN hose is usually used which is more durable . Keep an eye on it
I ordered 4 feet of mr gasket -6 AN hose, and 4 collars. its not quite as close as it may seem in the photo, I dont want a fire, but its probably a good idea to move it a bit closer to the carb. easier said than done without making some hideous bracket unfortunately. maybe I will put the reg to the front of the engine and turn my 90 degree carb fittings toward that direction to make it work. who knows, ill just keep plugging away at it.
