Its the U code 350 HP 440 with magnum exhuast and dual snorkle vs the normal T-code 335 HP motor It would have the same motor as a R/T charger would have had. Correct me if Im wrong there wern't many made with the U code I have only seen 2 others ever
Yes,....U code was rare in a "C"as most of these were special order. Can you say "sleeper"!. Hey,Bill,.....how many Fury's were ordered with this engine!

I have a 68 440HP TNT dual snorkel, is this a U code, how can I tell? Probably not, huh? It was in a New Port I believe.Still have the whole front sub frame and trans, brakets and acceries too. I always figured someone might be interested if going numbers matching. It's just a core but all the numbers were together since it's build. Not for sale at this time.

In 1970, T code was 440 350 Hp, U code was 440 375 HP and V was the 440 6-pack.
In Plymouth, many of the Sport Fury's were T code, The Fury GT's were all U code and a half dozen GT's were V code. I think Dan owns them all!
In Chrysler there were a ton of 383 and 440 cars and I suspect that most of the high end cars were U code.
As per Glen's comment about my Fury, as far as I know, only 6 convertibles were born with T code 440 350 Hp. I don't know of any with either U or V codes.

V-code 440/6bbl C-body cars were only available in the 1970 Sport fury GT's....and they believe there were only around 66 cars produced...and Dan owns 3 of those.
