Art, don't get your buns in a knot, if you look at Joe's previous posts they are all in caps.
Joe, on the internet typing a message all in capitals means you are shouting! I'M SURE YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO SHOUT!
And yes I can't see anyone pulling parts of a nicely done car, unless of course the car happens to be owned by a neighbour!
Reminds me of an operation busted here a few years ago. A certain scrap yard used to advertise that if they didn't have the part you needed, they would find for you. Turned out they took orders during the day, a crew of young teens would search the city for the car models needed and a crew of older teens would go out and steal the cars. Finally a shop shop would turn the car into parts, crush the bones and you would be notified the piece you had on order "was in and ready for pickup"!

ceebuddy wrote ... Bill,
that salvage yard story kinda reminds me of a 1961 "C-movie" flick called "The Choppers"...
Maybe that's where they got the idea! The part that got me was they were apparently in business quite a long time before they got raided. They gave real meaning to the term "mid-night auto supply"
Edit
I just finished watching the Choppers, what a blast from the past! Deep plot, great special effects, hi-tech cellphones, great lines!
Big budget movie, probably cost at least $10,000

I get e-mails from the UK and Europe all the time...especially if you put a "want" ad online...seems after a month or two after the ad has been placed I"ll get the e-mails comming through...I just delete them.
