Yep! I did not need to use the torque shaft on my TTi install.
i fonud some hooker areochamber mufflers on e bay $80 for 2 of them with shipping the local guy @the exhaust shop said he could install them and run the pipe fo about $175 as soon as the mufflers get here i will make my appt and let you know how it turns out!!!!

it seems like it is running rich now though and wants to load up at idle .
the car is all stock other than the new duals. it ran great before the duals????? is there a quick fix for that??? i just drove the car about 6 miles will it just come out of that???

Josh,I had to crank up my timing,change the metering rods,and fine tune everything all over again after I installed my duals.By doing duals,you uncorked the engine,and lowered the backpressure.Thus reducing engine temp at the same time. I would first put a vacuum guage on the engine,set the idle air screws.Second crank up your timing.The more the better--but not to cause ping under load.Watch your vacuum go up.This is good.It should be between 18 22 inches. Are you running a 4 barrel Thermoquad?? 2 barrel Carter?? Let me know. <span class='smallblacktext'>[ Edited Thu Dec 14 2006, 09:36PM ]</span>
Make sure the choke isn't sticking closed, it might be totally unrelated to the exhaust work, but Cbarge is right... you'll have to do a little tuning work to get the most out of the new system.
