As far as I know there's only 1 Gas tank......my Fury was a 383-2 w/single exhaust on it & that's the original tank in there. Just run the pipes right under each framerail to keep them equally spaced. If you look at TTI's website & look at the C-body exhaust pic they have they do the same thing.
The tanks are offset to the left for the single but there's still plenty of room to run duas under there. You can't shift to the right much anyway cause of the filler pipe going thru the rear crossmember. Unless, of course, you cut the opening in the crossmember some to move it.
Muffler choices are VERY subjective. Some like one sound &other like something else. A lotof us like the Dynomax Super Turbo's cause they have a nice deep sound but aren't too loud overall. They sound like a Mopar should to me. If you want something a bit louder but with the same deep tone the Dynomax Ultra Flows would be the ticket. I've heard sound clips of both side-by side & the Ultra Flows have a nice tone at cruise & idle but when you step on it they Bark louder than the Super Turbos.
Pipe size & the overall case length determine sound levels too, the Dynomax Super Turbos I use are a 20" case & I think TTI uses the same ones. The shorter 16 & 14" case ones will be a bit louder, I have 14" cases ones on my Dart & it's louder just slightly. Both my Fury & the Dart have headers & 3" head pipes with 2 1/2 tails so the systems are similar.
Some independant tests by a Pontiac guy a few years ago showed that the Dynomax Super Turbos outflowed Flowmaster by a bunch & the Ultra's flow even better. The Supers were 42.00 a piece at Summit the last time I bought them, Flows are more like 80.00 a piece. Ultra's are up there too in the 70.00-80.00 prices I think.
I did the same thing you're wanting to do to the Fury back when I bought it, put B-body Hi-po manifolds on it & went to another local exhaust shop & had duals put on it with their house "Turbo's" & ran it that way till I parked to resto. Done all the time on these cars.

I should have said also....I always go to our local exhaust guy cause he takes the time & treats us right. Last big car we took over was a friends 65 Ny'r & he charged him 175.00 to do a 2 1/2 dual system on it ( we supplied the Dynomaxes ) , 413 car. The same for another friend with a 70 GTX. On my Fury he only charged me 500.00 for building the headers & the whole system so I have about 830.00 in the whole thing & a custom-built set of headers for a combo nobody does anyway.
Tha being said I realize that most shops out there aren't like that just from listening to people & the other shops around here are no where near as cheap. The TTI pricing for just the dual system w/ Dynomaxes isn't bad compared to most shops so I think that's a geat way to go too. Check out your local shops for pricing & see where you're at pricewaise first & if they're close to the TTI price then get the TTi since we know the qaulity is good. See if you can get any reccomendations from others for a good shop also. Doesn't hurt to check around.

Josh, the only one that can answer that question is YOU...
I have my preferences & so do others...in the end you have to like the sound. If you've heard the JBA's & like the sound then try them . Since you've got an exhaust guy you trust you're half-way home!
Dynomax used to have sound clips on their website & I think other do also...maybe JBA has a website to compare others to? I know Borla's sound real nice too but are pricey.
hey guys i was on the TTI web site and seen the Torque Shaft.... thing i was wondering if i need thie to run dual eaxaust?? from the way my car looks the shaft is under the torsion bar on the drivers side.. how much does that thing cost... or can my exhausy guy get around it????? thanks Josh

The Torgue shaft mod is just for the Header installs I think. The Headers interfere with it. A regular dual setup with manifolds should clear just fine.
