Materials, labor, or both?
One issue I've seen in my neck of the woods is contractors locking in prices while they are at multi-year peaks, accepting too many jobs, and moving very slowly on jobs they have taken on. I am lucky to have a guy I've known and trusted for years who likes to work with me, but a number of my acquaintances have been running into this problem. Same out west, or different?

It took me 6 months just to get some windows replaced. I’ve yet to find a contractor to come out and fix a roofing issue. They won’t bother unless it’s a full replacement. As for the garage, I have done a considerable amount of work on the car in a 10x20 canopy from Costco. I plan on adding sides to it this spring for painting. Not for winter of course, but when the weather is nice it worked out great.

I do not know if I have it in me to do this wagon. Wyatt has been extremely motivational however it needs everything. My standards will not allow me to cover up. It's gotta be right or damn close .
