Just as I was about to pack it in for the evening,my buddy Jamie pops in. He came in looking for advice--but I volunteered him to be my vice,LOL!! So,with a bit of luck,I used a propane torch to heat up the torsion bar adjuster bolt. Jamie held it down as I used my bumper jack and ratchet to break the bugger loose. It worked! Thanks Jamie!! I can now finish the rest of the front end!!

Tomorrow finish up the front end and get the tires back on. Drivetrain install next after that.... [ Edited Sat Apr 02 2011, 11:56PM ]

I finally completed the front end rebuild today. Sure it will need to be all tightend and adjusted, but that will be done after the motor, trans, and front clip is on and alignment done. But that is a long ways away yet. As mentioned to me by mike66chryslers,I left the lower control arm pins loose so not to tear the bushings apart. The sway bar is in hand tight as well. I painted it first before it went in for the last time..

Kids,do not try this at home alone.. Installed the new silencer springs on the front drums. It took two people--with gloves on so not to pinch your skin--to roll these suckers on. But looks good when on NOS drums. New bearings, and seals. I installed RH thread studs too. No more LH ones on this car..maybe some day I might install some wheels that require chrome lug nuts.
