Thanks to Tucker, one of our mechanics at my work,he got the ball joints and control arm bushings pressed in. Plus with the torches,he managed to remove the bent strut bar from the LCA. Now it is time to finish cleaning them up and install. I am off this weekend,so I can't wait to get back in the shop!!

I had a very productive day today, and very happy with the work I did. The weather was great and for the first time this year,I worked with the garage door open. I set the right control arms in the sun after they got cleaned up and painted..

I had to tackle the right front shock that was still stuck in the frame. With no torches,I had to be creative. With my cutting disc,I hacked up the nut, then with a pipe wrench and open ratchet wrench,it broke free.

Remember,as mentioned before,I had no choice but to break apart the right side from the upper ball joint causing the car to jump when the torsion bar unloaded. I was bummed out when I tried and failed to budge the bolt--even out of the car.My bench vice would have been nice right about now...
