The strut bar and control arm have to come out (and go in) together. I am replacing the bent bar so i wanted to remove it from the arm. I clamped it down tight in my bench vice--too much to the point I broken my vice.UGH!

Tomorrow i will be taking the two uppers and the right lower to my work to gert the bushings and upper ball joints replaced since I do not have torches nor special tools at my home.

Great stuff, Ive been waiting for the BOAB files to return. It spurs me into action again.
This might sound obvious but make sure the torsion bar bolts spin nice and easy while you have the arms off the car otherwise you will find you need a 4 foot bar to tighten them and then shear one them off. !stars

tHANKS,3DUCKS. Another tip I learned is DO NOT tighten the new lower control arms until the car is back on the ground. having them tight whie up in the air can damage them.
