Well... after a bit of tinkering, (pulled out and wiped off those connectors) the "dead start" issue has sorta faded away hasnt happend in about a week...
But.
Aparenlty the coke and vaccum advance are gonna have to be looked at this week... some backfiring through the carb is happenin' and the choke wouldnt open like it should when its cold...
Put some new vaccum lines on, checked the timing (off somewhat), fixed a little fuel leak (thanks again Moparkidd)...
I found an original NOS MOPAR shield at the shop I use. $250 installed. All the rust outs are fixed at the bottom edges of the windows and The new vinyl top is done. It will get the glass Monday.
I just saw my seats. Taking out the vinyl inserts and replacing them with black cloth with a custom pleat. It is similar to the original. When this is done next week, I'll shoot up a cpuple of pix's before and after. He is also firming up the seat. The interior will make that New Yorker look shameful. LOL This guy is a interior restoration shop and a perfectionist. He's over in Rockaway. Not too expensive. The top and interior is costing me about 2 grand total. OHHHH it looks sweet! [ Edited Sat Nov 19 2005, 01:21PM ]
