'Cuda's used the same sidemarkers, too. Seen plenty of E body guys rape the Fury's for more then just the drivetrains. [ Edited Thu Feb 25 2010, 05:45PM ]

anybody have an illustration as to how to remove and replace the markers?
It's been several years since I looked at it but I don't recall being able to redily remove it. [ Edited Thu Feb 25 2010, 05:57PM ]

Yes, sorry, got ahead of myself. The SF only front markers are not very common either tho. I've never had an issue with the rear markers on the few furies I've had. I've got a set on the back of a parts car still just in case anything happens to mine. Do they commonly crack or corrode or something?

mine got pushed out by cargo sliding around in the back before I put in my trunk liners and side boards to protect everything. So there's now a nice air inlet to my trunk... probly a nice critter inlet too.. So, I need to pull it off in order to repair the bend at least...

You should have thought of that before destroying the tailights. I told you those sockets do not come out. But you still messed them up with a screwdriver. The tailight assemblies are now junk. Have fun locating one year only and model specific tailights.
You can buy a factory shop manual on CD off ebay. With some patience and finesse--along reading the FSM you can save yourself time, money and headaches. !study Do your homework.. !shame
You want repop parts? Buy a Mustang or a Camaro.

FIRST OF ALL...I have a brand new NOS entire bumper assembly off a 71 GT. I am not that big of an idiot to just go out into my garage and start destroying Yeep. I know how hard stuff is to get. I have sank over 6000 dollars into the car already. I am pretty sure I have common sese as well. So don't start assuming I don't before you know the whole situation. Breaking the grody looking lenses was the only way to get the bulbs popped out, the screws were rusted into the actual housing. I don't know if you enjoy the frustration of having to call all over the globe to find parts or whatever, sometimes it can be fun, I am just saying...it can be monotonous.

I said I was kidding. Sorry if I was a bit tough. I gotta lay off on the Moparts forum.attitude is rubbing off,LOL
I actually enjoy searching all around for parts. The thrill of the hunt is the more fun than the catch.
Good score on the NOS bumper assembly. Now I know the rest of the story. !bbb NOS scores can be addictive..I know.I have been collecting NOS trim and parts for my car for four years.
I also have met a good number of Dry Dock members and have becomee good friends despite the miles in between. On number of occasions I drove up to 6-12 hours to put the faces to the screen names AND help fix their cars.
On trips,I always take my camera and make notes on stuff that may interest others. I shipped parts across Canada and US to members in need. Networking..I like doing that and it helps members here.
So,please accept my apology. Remember it's a hobby. When it gets frustrating, take a break. or take the frustration and turn it into a challenge that can be fun.
I can also offer to help you by sending you an AutoZone gift card so you can buy some PB Blaster for those rusty bolts and screws!!
Sincerely, Leaburn
