I realize that this comes up a lot and I have read all the threads and searched the net but cannot find the answer seems that it is good for sure to 71 but no info on 72.
Will a cast number 2899879 pass. side hp exhaust manifold fit my 72 monaco 400cid?
Thanks in advance this is my first classic car and my signature line says it all [ Edited ]
I don't know for sure, but it seems that all the fuselage cars ('69 to '73) are pretty much the same, so it probably would. [ Edited Thu Dec 03 2009, 04:56PM ]
Thought I did, but I have a 3830800 and it is not on the TTI list. I have a line on a 2863409 that is on the TTI list and should work so hopefully I can pick it up.
What is a fair price for these things? Also the 2899879 I am looking at does not have the knob at the end like in your picture never did. Is that a problem?

Okay I have another set lined up 3751068 and 3751071 going to try them if the shipping doesnt kill me. They are listed with TTI but hard to get any info on the 3751068 but I am going to try it and if it doesn't work sell it to a b body guy. I may end up with a nice manifold collection by the time I get what I need

The 3830800 is for the '75-76 models and uses a clamp on down pipe-no good for use with TTI pipes.
The 3751068 is a B/E body manifold, but can be used on a C body. These cost about $150.
The 2863409 was used in '68-69 and will work great, but the very similar 2951216 is a better match for your year of car (used '70-73 with provisions for a heat stove). Either of these can be found on E-bay regularly for $50 -$100.
The 2899879 doesn't need to have the knob-that's the counter weight for the flapper valve that has probably been removed. This one usually goes for $150-200 on E Bay. The 2806900 manifold will also work on the passenger side.
