I have full coverage with State Farm, agreed value of $12,000.00 for $71.00 every six months. It has classic plates, the restrictions are pleasure cruising, shows or parades, or going to get parts. If anything ever happens, I was going to get parts. Oh, and I think being kept inside a garage helps lower it also.

I don't know if it would be age, my son is 19 and my insurance covers him also. I asked my agent if he was covered and he told me if he washes and waxes the car he can drive it He told me he was covered. Now on my other cars that are daily drivers I pay through the nose for him

I called today to find out why I pay more at Hagerty and I had my car listed as "modified" so they changed it, it came down a little. They told me in Michigan if I get a historical plate my insurance would drop a lot! But there are a lot of driving restrictions with a historical plate. I like to drive my car when ever I want not just to and from shows and stuff.
