Currently I'm thru State farm.
Insured for full replacement value, can drive it anywhere but does seem a bit pricey, almost 100 bucks a month, wondering what options are really available that you all have found.

I insured my 71 Sport Fury thru Grundy. I have it insured for 10 thousand. I have unlimited mileage, no drag racing, can't use it as a daily driver and must have inside storage. This is the first time for collector insurance. I have read some postings on this subject and a few do not like Grundy.
My Fury is with State Farm. Currently insured for an agreed value of $25,000, comp/collison, increased medical. I think it is under insured though, getting appraisals once it is all back together. Only limits I can think of are can't be daily driver and kept in a secure garage. My premiums are about $40 a month. I have a perfect record, and the lawyer reciepts to proive it!
Once the appraisals are in I will be shopping around. 8,000 miles is the minimium restriction I would consider though.
I was in the process of applying for collector car insurance (I think it was through Grundy but I'm not positive) when they wanted me to sign a waiver that I would never drive it to work. I like to drive it to work a few times each summer, so I'm not going to sacrifice coverage on those days! I'm still looking into other options.
I have J.C Taylor. Massachusetts is the worst state to insure as we have a state regulated system which does not encourage competition. All 5 cars are on an antique policy and my total is about $350 a year. There are restrictions, but as my agent says "Just drive them, you'll be fine. "

I forgot to mention my premium in the previous post, it is $170 per year. I had to sign a waiver stating I would not drive it to work which is okay. I only work 3 nights a week. [ Edited Tue May 02 2006, 01:40AM ]

I'm with State Farm, my premiums are $23.43 month. No mile restrictions but can't be a daily driver. I can take it to work if I plan on bringing it to my garage for service after work and as long as I have parking. I had mine appraised for $12,000 last year.
