I'm changing it for the power and the looks I got the chrome kit for it.. Last summer I got about 17-18 mile per gallon if, I stayed under the 60 mpg mark. The motor shows 35,000 on the odometer,I don't know how many times it went around. I got it rebuilt last year, I also put on an electronic ignition, the car was sitting in front of a restaurant for about 12 years. It was being used for advertising. My next big expense will be the exhaust, it has duels now but needs to be replaced.

Huh. I remember my Dads 71 Fury. I used to borrow it all the time because he got 18 MPG mixed like Richard is getting. But then again, it was still real gasoline then.
I also remember he used to claim he got 22 on the highway with his 318, 71F3. It was similar to mine in blue, like yours. Interesting. Ah my 2 sheckles

It's pretty hard to get 17 miles a gallon on the highway. When I take it up north I can't seem to keep it under 100 mph. It cruses so nice you don't even realize that your moving that fast.A few times the OPP pull up along side of me and gave me the slow down sign. I been lucky I guess they must like the car, because they never did stop me and give me a ticket. [ Edited Tue Apr 04 2006, 09:12AM ]

I don't know.. I got it off the TTI site... My buddy put on a 2 1/2 Ebody manifold back on his Challenger and it fit like a glove and my mechanic put a 3 inch manifold back on his 71 Road Runner and there were no problems... I'd assume the C-body kit would be just as good
