Nice going....now if it doesn't get messed up in transit.....( OOps, did I say that ? ). Al's a good guy, I'm sure he'll take all precautions in shipping.
At least the paints so fresh that Carl shouldn't have any trouble matching. Hopefully it won't have any holes drilled in it being NOS to have to fill either, less work!

Are you trying to make me cry?? Not Funny!
Luckily we still have paint left with the extra pearl in it. Carl has already prepared them that if painting just the panel doesn't work, we ARE doing the whole car. I have my fingers crossed, cause otherwise I wouldn't have it back till probably June!

Scott If it hasn't shipped yet, Suggest DHL for shipping. They have a special shipping program. And it's no extra charge. JUST MAKE SURE THEY LABEL IT CLEARLY
No fender yet, gonna still be a while. I got confirmation from Al @ Valley Vintage that it is ready to go, but it has to go truck. And the trucking company has promised to pick it up sometime this week. The wait continues.
Just realized I hadn't updated this thread in a while. The Fury should be home and all fixed Friday!! Yippee!! Lots of drama.
The tool guys insurance still hasn't contacted me. But my insurance finally stepped up and accepted the NOS fender. Got the fender ordered from Vally Vintage, good price, quick ship, wrong side! We worked a deal for me to keep the right side and then got the left in record time. One came shipped in a bathtub box and the other in a water heater box! I had kidded with a couple people they were as big as bath tubs, who knew?
After getting it apart we found a ripple in the hood, so it was straightened and the whole front clip was painted. I don't think they had to come into the doors, I forgot to ask yesterday. But it looked good inside, we will see when it is outside. But Carl knows I almost threatened the insurance adjuster life if they tried to cheap me out and give me something that didn't match!! So I am not to worried.
So it will be a mad dash Friday and Saturday to get the new door panels back in, the billets polished and back on, the grill back in, the boot installed, the instrument console installed and a quick glazing for the first city cruise Saturday night! Although now it sounds like rain most of Saturday. Oh well, at least I have my Fury back after almost 2 months of headaches.
