Yes, it's with twin 68mm Garrets. They are too small for big power, but spool very quickly. Perhaps even too quickly...., and powervise they are still good for 180+ mph speeds, so I don't think we really need much more power than that. The ET Streets are already begging for mercy.

Thanks man.. I was SOOOO proud of her this year !! The announcer was talking up my car all night, He was even yapping when I was not around saying ( I cant stop thinking about that 70 fury here tonight !). I later found out he is a big mopar nut. I had people checking under the hood and asking all kinds of questions about her. Most people are suprised to see a big car move out.. AS was I !! I bet a friend that runs Englishtown all the time , I would just touched the high 14s.. I needed a smile-ectomy that night when she touched the 13s with a used open rear and 2.73s! Unfortunately I went home on the trailer when I showed for the mopar weekend about a week later, because the gears granade'd a block from the track... LOL! My friend has a Good used set of 3.23 posi for me for 300bucks. Be back on the road in a week or so. That should get me the 13s alot, Even though its mostly for shows, Ill hit the track afew times a year... I love my fury !!! !banana

That's a good result especially with the long gear ratio and open diff. We had a pretty severe engien failure in the first race of the season, the car lost traction and overrewed pretty hard, the limiter just doesn't react quickly enough. That caused valvetrain problems, three pushrods broke and two lifters. All the valves were bent and the lifter parts that hit the rotating assy made quite a mess. At close to 9000 rpm they hurt even the crank and steel rods pretty deep. Two pistons were changed because of the hit, and other parts were just groumd smooth, the valves were straightened, new valve job and it's back together. While at it, we decided to try a different chassis set up too, lenghtened and raised the four link IC, added front suspension travel and loosened the fornt shocks & stiffened the rear, and installed a way tighter converter. Just to make things sure, we also reduced the power, some 300+ hp less than previously used. Last weekend we got to try it. The first run was awful, lost traction everytime the gaspedal was pressed. However, it had just stopped raining and we thought to give it another try without changes. The rain continued and teh qualification was left to that single round, others struggeled too and our 10.32 was good enough for third place. Next day the weather was better and despite of not trtying anything special teh car run actually great considering that we left the line practically without boost and had 8 psi less max boost than normally. We reached the final and lost it because of a driver mistake (staged too deep and went over). However, we were very happy, despite of less power and no boost in teh launch the car run a best of 8.16 with a 1.37 60 ft time, the chassis seemed to work decently and the car sounded good going down the track. Here is a slow motion video, as you can see it leaves tiremarks pretty much all the way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9ZhAaehtPw

Had some 1/8th mile test 'n' tuner uns last night, best time was 9.2 at 79.9 mph. I fitted a 3.91 SG, but have way to much wheel spin- cannot just floor it as it spins through 1st and 2nd gears!
