Finally finished up my body and frame- grafted in floors and trunk from a 68 Newport, replaced rear 1/4 panels, replaced frame at torque box areas, rebuilt subframe at connecting areas, and installed subframe connectors. Finished bodywork and painted it back original puke green FF1. Now it's finally is starting to look like something. I should be asking a few suspension questions shortly, that should be up next.

Hey Rusty Don't start on the "Puke Green" stuff . . . . These guys wore themselves out on that color last year on the Polaraco, which is the 72 Version of the FF1
You can come out here anytime and do my cars. . . . LOL

Thanks for all the compliments. This color green is making a comeback, lots of new cars have it now. The Polaraco is ahead of the curve!
My frame connectors posed a problem different from NFURY8. Apparently the 68 has a mounting bolt where he put his. I had to trim the bracket back right up to the bolt hole to make room for a 1 1/2 inch tube- the biggest I could fit on there.
I also removed the parking brake bracket, bent down the ends and reattached it to get cable clearance. I did not make it removeable to keep it at full strength.
Looks like you spent MANY hrs block sanding,it looks great! !thumb It's a good feeling when a project is getting nearer to the end. You always ask you'reself "When is it gonna end?". Great job!
