Well, thanks. The connectors should make for a nicer feeling of solidity. I think my car is definately making a comeback to its former glory. I bet when the new torsion bars are installed, it will be a good firm foundation for fast driving!

Is that "shiney" black paint I see under your ride? Nice! Reminds me of a similar 66' Monaco 500 sitting in my garage! Looks like quality work being done here! You took a page outta my book! Keep the pics coming! Tony P.

Wow, absolutely beautiful Mr Rusthole. Thats like restoration on a biblical scale. Is that Eastwoods splater paint inside the trunk? And what paint did you use for the chassis? anything special. Its looking really good. !thumb

Thanks, Mr. 3Ducks. You guessed right. Eastwood sells 3 cans of spatter with 2 cans of clear in a kit. My trunk is so big that I used 2 kits. Underneath is an epoxy primer followed by a single stage urethane, same as on the underside. The urethane is tougher than enamel, no clear needed and almost as cheap.
Congratulations on the new addition. Ready to get back to the car project I see.
