I guess that they could be part of the fusey family, being that they never really had a drastic change in body/undercarriage, only a big drop in HP. Tom

i thought that for a while... becasue my 74 and my 72 look awful similar but the 74 and up models dont seem to be considered fuselage... and after the imperial went away for 76 the new yorkers took that on and then the newports looked like the older new yorkers from 74 75... it just seems sorta like they gave up. kinda sad really. [ Edited Fri Feb 24 2006, 10:26PM ]

I call them beautiful!
I have always loved the 2-door formal roof coupes. I even saw a Newport for sale on eBAy with that top. Wished I could have bought it.
It's a shame that late '70 cars are such junk, quality-wise, because some are real lookers!
By the way, I had a '79 Cordoba for two years - E56 360. The motor ran great, especially after I changed to a Mopar Eletronic Ignition and a good, 2.5" exhaust system. But that car was the biggest POS I have ever owned! Somethig was always breaking!

Hey Scott! I know where there is a whole 79 Cordoba 300 for 400 bucks on the west coast. It's up in Portland. Car is all there, but needs interior work

I would love to have another 79 Cordoba, the one I had was a very sharp car, always kept her clean. She was white, white landua top, red leather interior, 360 2barrell(I removed the lean burn), tilt, cruise. loved that car, and so did all the chicks that road in it. If I can find one that is not rusted out and in white with red leather, I'd buy it if it were for the cheap(I mean almost giving it away) Tom
