Just got new tires and wheels for my 68 Plymouth. I think I got a little too tall of tires - they are 235x15 and I think I should have gone with 225 or 215s - but overall I'm happy with the look.

225 or 215's would be thinner not shorter depending on whether the are 70's or 60's.im guessing you got 235/70-15's instead of 235/60-15's which would be shorter.looks great either way

looks great. i think you have a case of the owner noticing a detail that no one else will unless you point it out.... and even then i dont think its noticeable. and its great you got whitewalls, you see too many cars with blackwalls that (IMO) should have whitewalls....

The car looks great. I always ran 235-75-15's on the big "C"s. They are 29 inches tall and 8 inches wide. Can be tough to get in some of the rear wells that don't use skirts, but they do fit and run great. I guess it's all a matter of preference.

Great looking car & the wheels & tires look just fine. I have Magnum 500s & whitewalls on my 2 door formal roof hardtop. I love the 4 door hardtop body too. Sweet ride.
