I'm really confused now. lol
What is a "merc" transmission, Mercedes?
If this car has a complete non Mopar powertrain in it, you're looking at a custom shaft which is no big deal. Get the proper yokes for the diff and the trans and then use the above posted link to calculate how long it needs to be and have a driveline shop build it for you.
A factory Chrysler driveshaft is pretty much useless to you.
Yes its a mercedes tranny with toyota rear end. I got a 440 with a 727 tranny for it and I found an 8 3/4 rear end and a 66 fury driveshaft which Ill modify if needed.

I'm not sure but I think that Plymouth shaft is going to be too short for you.
Chryslers were built on a 124" wheelbase while Plymouths were built on 119".
If the shaft is shorter you can have a driveline shop cut out the yokes on a lathe and install a longer tube.
Before you go to that trouble, make sure the driveshaft yoke takes the same u-joint that the differential yoke does. There are 2 different size U-joints. Spicer 7260 and 7290 IIRC.
