Looking for latest info for availability of this switch. This is for a console shift column w/cornering lights. I did a search but didn't get a lot of confidence in the results. I have a list of several part numbers that I will list later. (on my way to a movie)
Also looking for tips on how to remove the outer cover to gain access to the switch. There was a specific tool for it which is a modified slide hammer. I'll make one if I have to, but would appreciate any input to avoid that.

I wonder if any GM switches would work since this is a Saginaw column I believe. Perhaps a '67-'68 Buick Riviera, Corvette, Toronado, Eldorado, Grand Prix, etc. with tilt/tele and floor shift. GM went to a locking column in '69+ on all car models except Corvair so those are probably different. Pre '67 is probably different as well since '67 is the year that the collapsible columns came out.

I bought a GM turn signal switch for my 300 -68 with Saginaw column. However I don't have tilt/telescop. A GM unit will work but you'll have to do some changes in the elecrtical socket. Regards Jimmy
Thanks for all the replies. I ended up calling Shee-Mar today. I sent them some pics of my stuff, waiting for a reply tomorrow.
Found out through them that the Tilt-O-Scope column is indeed a GM product. So it made sense when the fella told me that the design of the switch was/is a weak engineering attempt.
He said that they do reproduce it, but it won't be available for 9 weeks. So if anybody else needs one, you may want to contact them. No idea of price, I forgot to ask.
A couple of other things that I learned:
Floor shift or column shift don't make any difference.
Non cornering lights is a two wire cam, cornering lights is a three wire cam. (Violet/purple wire is for C/L) *However he said that the two wire cam can be retrofitted to work with cornering lights*
Tilt and fixed columns are different switches.
The wiring harnesses for both are identical at the connector as far as wire color and location.

oh wow. That is great.
About ten years ago i talk to the guy at SheMar about this exact switch. He told me some else had the rights to it and was being a pain about it. I guess they worked it through.
