Keep in mind that a "standard" anything back then was rarely accurate. I've also run into at least a dozen things between the C and B bodies that are not quite the same in a book, brochure or even repair manual as I had sitting in the driveway. The experienced people on the various boards are a better resource. Just MY opinion.

I agree. Who knows what standard is? Who cares? The nice thing about c-bodies is that no one ever judges them for concours excellence. No one cares if the appropriate inspection marks have been replicated. These cars are just do what you want with them and let the high dollar upper crust of the hobby be damned.

looks like my 76 royal monaco wagon is the same colour as your 73 monaco ben. as far as surly front ends go, after the 72/73 monaco front, the 75-77 royal monaco front is my next favorite. you can see the evolution of the 73 to the 75.......

well ben, since Santa Claus is supposed to be derived from Sinterklaas i would say your monaco is in the Netherlands aka Holland. especially since those look like dutch licence plates.........
