I have done lots of work with my Polara. I swapped (restored) front discbrakes from -73 New Yorker and changed all LCA / UCA bushings, balljointsnd steering balljoints etc. All these parts from Moog. I bought (ordered) also a new Raybestos master cylinder. And what I got? A mastercylinder from China

You don't have to get a mc made in China, but you have to look. The restoration places like booster dewey offer m.c.'s that are good quality but might be a little more pricey. They offered me one that I'm sure was good, but they wanted $90. Rock auto sells one made by wagner for $48, thats probably made here.
People come up to my parts counter and complain that our disc rotors are made in china, but they're ok. It is more important to have good qualty hydraulic parts and a good booster, so I wouldnt settle for low quality rebuilds.

SInce I bleed brakes the old fashioned way, and nobody's around to help me, I figured I might as well clean and paint my intake manifold. Ive done it once before. I also cleaned all the nasty glop from my egr valve, egr passages in the intake, and my dirty carter thermoquad.
I should totally repaint the engine performance orange instead of Chrysler blue, get a dual-snorkel aircleaner and tell people its a tnt motor.

My brakes have been good since I did this work, but now I think I have a vaccum leak from the check valve on the booster. The old Dorman # was 80162, discontinued. ANyone know of a local source for these?
