That car inspires me! I may just have to change the oil and sparkplugs. Really nice car, well thought out. YOU HAVE to bring it Carlise or the Nats next year!
Reason 1: This car was bought new by my step-grandfather in LA California. I remember riding in the back seat on visits with rented surfboards hanging out the windows on the way to Malibu Beach and thinking in my pre-teen brain that this car was the shizzitt! The interior, the dash, the stacked headlights, and hammerhead front... just didn't see anything like it and i was feelin' it.
Reason 2: It is different. Nobody I shared my initial vision with this car could see or understand it. Now, people giggle with glee when they see it. Nothing makes me smile more than spanking a "Muscle Car" with a giant 4200lb sled like a c-body.
Reason 3: Chicks love the big back seat and interior side courtesy lights that lead the way!
I plan to have it at the Dig Daddy Garlit's show in November.
Also- the car should run high tens on motor. Though two-stages, NOS is only 175hp first shot then followed with another 125hp shot once moving. Hoping for high nines on spray. Unfortunately, I don't expect the block to last a long time like this.

Well give us the breakdown....son! Your showing a 521 ci on the "list"...(oh, thanks for knocking me back another position! ) Just kiddin'! I mean...how is it a 521? Big stroker 440? How you are saying it is telling me it is NOT a new mega block.....cause they SHOULD hold 1,000 BHP! I'm assuming a 440 block to start with if your concerned about breakage.
A 1.58 60 ft.! IMPRESSIVE! I never saw a C body that low yet! Good launch....I'd say! !thumb Tony P.

Hi Tony,
Those numbers were with the last motor. This one is stronger.
Low deck 400 block. 4.375 bore x 4.325 stroke 1/2 hardblock fill, billet steel main caps, stud girdle, carbon fiber reinforced lifter valley (by me), ss ball bearings w/ head and main studs individually machined so they bottom at same point as seating.
Should have used alum main caps? -- probably Should have used aftermarket block? -- it was not in my budget, but now that i have taken the car this far and blew the budget a long time ago... Absolutely. but hey, you know how obsessions can spiral out of control.

Yes Nelson......I DO! A 400 block? WOW! Some crank there! I have a 383 with 440 crank and rods. It sounds like your block has been VERY modified! I wonder if the block will take it.
With all them mods.....are you a machineist or something? Ball bearings? Man...I've never heard of that being used! Some wild/good ideas on your ride! !thumb This is sounding better....AND BETTER! Keep it going.....I can't wait for the 1/4 times! We have a REAL contender here folks!
Just one thing.......you a lawyer or something? That ride CANNOT have been cheap! I thought I cornered the market on dumping $$$$$ into C bodies! Tony P.
