Welcome! You are correct on the hood, it is a 69 Fury only thing. And you are also correct about cutting off the nose of the hood to make it work. One of the things I am planning for my 69 Fury is the addition of the small R/T style hood scoops. To my knowledge, the R/T style scoops were also the only style that came on a convertible.
Here is a shot of my 69 Fury from a recent show.
Wheels can do alot for that car! I am not so sure about the Weld Wheels though. Ofcourse, you can never go wrong with Torque thursts or Cragars, but eveyone has those. I was looking hard at a solid Centerline style for a while.
Here is a better shot of my wheels, Coddington Rodders. 17x8 with 275/50-17's on the rear!
Cool, I was watching that car. Too bad the old R&R yard in Aurora is gone. Almost everything you would have needed was in there. Check out my gallery on this site. There are lots of progress pics of my car in there. Post away here with what ever you need! I have quite a few left over driver quality parts out in the shed. Get her going and come on up to KC in June!
Edit -
I yanked a set of Buddy Seats out of 70 parts car I have, hope to drop in a console with them in the future. [ Edited Wed Nov 16 2005, 05:12PM ]
I thought that car looked like it needed a door. How bad is it? Looks like it is just in the center, but the full length. I might now of a door up in St. Joe, Mo. I will try and find the guys email. For the record, a 70 door will work also.
yeah there is some bumps down the passenger side fender might pull out door is worse the bottom of the passenger needs replaced from rust is hardtop door/glass same as convertible stuff?
The Chrysler Bible says Wheel Base 120" Length 214.5" Track Front 62.1" Rear 60"
So the total width is approximately 6' with the tires and some room to spare. More like 5 1/2'.
Is that the one that was on eBay last week?. . . I was going back and forth with the seller. Went with a 180 degree turn and got my 2nd B Body I have ever owned, a 62 Dart Wagon (Rare Bird at that) But my 71 Fury still lives on to terrorize the roads
