Just went to Bills website and read up on his Fury vert restoration. Interesting read if any of you haven't checked it out yet. It's at: http://mounteer.ca/fury

Thanks guys! The only problem is the site is way out of date, guess I should get off my butt and make it current. The car is sitting in my garage, the engine is on a dolly at the office and I've enough parts stashed all over the house to just about finish the job. All I'm missing is time. My family has set a dead line of July 3 06, seems my daughter expects to use it for her wedding. Spring is going to be busy and I'll be on the board a lot asking lots of "how do I" questions. It will be interesting since the last time I saw the car together was nearly 10 years ago.

well even if the sales man said he could have got the Hemi inoyur car I really doubt it would have shown up with it, since chrysler never tooled an assembly line for this option. But it's cool to wonder "WHAT IF"
I too have just recently gone through your site, great site BTW!!
Good luck on the re-assembly, Brian H

That's something I've wondered about for a number of years. Sort of like the console mounted tach and the rear fender antenna, both of which were written up on the order, but never happened. However there is still the police Fury I 4dr sedan with the 440 six-pak I ran across on my southern road trip. That's a combination that even my eager salesman probably wouldn't have written up! At least with the hemi he checked with "someone" and came back with a price. So you just never know, there was some strange stuff built to order in the "good old days".

It's not a matter of bucks, it's the old "round-to-it" problem. It will get done this spring since my daughter has laid down the law, seems she wants it for her wedding next July. So ... I now have my marching orders and if I spend too much getting it finished - it's her fault. [ Edited Wed Nov 23 2005, 06:47PM ]
