Has anyone been to this Pontiac, IL Mopar show in the past? It was originally scheduled for June, but the new date is 9/11. Depending on the weather, I'm thinking about going since it's only 2 hours away.
Me neither, but its an all Mopar show and something to do this weekend. Small town car shows are usually a good time, and you typically get to see cars that usually don't drive too far from the local events.
On Saturday I met up with Wyatt and we made our way down to Pontiac, IL for this show. They had about 45/50 cars there, and 1/2 or maybe more were Metrics. While we were there one of the attendees told us the Morris Cruise Night was happening the same day, so after we split Pontiac, we took a bunch of back country roads, passing through Flannagan for some photo opps then stopping for a short while in Seneca where we stopped and met up with BLIMP who was wrenching on one of his latest 72 Monaco wagons before continuing on to Morris, where they had the downtown closed off to local traffic to make room for the 864 cars in attendence.
