Last yir I made a krooz kontrol diafram out uv double nit fabric and silicone sealant. Had to make a fixture for it, so made more to sell.
A few peepl hav them, but no word on how they're working out.
Mine works fine. Opened the cover and it looks good az new.
I also modified the wiring a little. A special spring contact that keeps it from activating below 30 mph wuz broken, so I bypassed it. The 'set' and 'rezoom' operate all the way down to 1 mph, but I havent tried them below 10, so I dont know if it will actually work. It seemz to be less accurate the slower you go. At 30 mph it can get all the way down to 20 befor it finally starts opening the throtl.
Just sent a krooz diafram to Finland and it wuz 21.45$! I mite haf to reconsider my no shipping charj polisy.
On top uv that, the postal clerk told me the resipient will be paying 65$ to customz for it! And I felt a litl gilty jacking the prise up from 30$ to 50$ for thoze last yir.

KurazyJO,
I saw your post and was hoping I could buy a diaphram from you as well. My long time goal has been to add cruise to my '70 Newyorker. I yanked a cruise control set up from my brother's parts car ('69 300) many years ago and it's been sitting on the shelf. One of these days I plan to install it in my Newyorker. Since this will be a new install, I was wondering if I could also trouble you for a couple pictures of your cruise control (mounting, throttle connection, vaccum line routing, etc). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
An update on mine: The krooz alwayz faded befor kicking the throttle up. I figured it wuz small vacuum leaks in the entire system. But wen I wuz packing the diafram to ship to Finland I notist the post coud spin, so put a small drop uv super glue on the base.
Then I loosend the cable cone on mine and did did the same. Now it maintainz speed much better.
