How would you honor C bodies at Carlisle or any show for that matter? What would be the hook? Would you give them a building? A tent? A prime area on the field? Would you focus on a particular model? Make? Color? Engine Size?
The organizer for the Chrysler event is looking for ideas and is reaching out to the C body community. Any ideas that we can share with Ed to help make the Carlisle of 2016, the 25th anniversary, the best it can possibly be?
Please post them here, As many of you know this year they will be featuring our beloved C bodies.
Goodness, I had no idea!! Thanks for the heads up!! This year I could potentially attend - no gigs as of yet. I just gotta convince the wife to go!!
I would suggest that the organizers set up a special display area or three - IE 1 for survivors, another for restored/show vehicles, and a third for driver/works in progress cars. The survivors and restored/show cars would appreciate a tent for sure...
Set up some reasonable criteria for inclusion and solicit submissions.
Those selected for survivor and restored/show categories could have their fees waived perhaps...
I know I would submit my T&C for the survivor category... at worst it would definitely make it into the driver category.
Thank You Jazz. . . . the organizer I believe will be looking into these threads and choosing viable options.
Have you ever been? Ive known you from the various Drydock forums for what, fifteen years now? Ive never met you..... you making the trip would be cool
