I have been in touch with the owner of a private collection of restored vintage drag race cars near Tillsonburg, Ontario. How many people would be interested in doing a face-to-face get-together and tour of this collection? What day of the week would work best? This would probably happen sometime in early 2015.

Also, if the get-together is on a weekday, we might be able to also get a tour of a nearby plant where they manufacture tractors. http://www.tracklessvehicles.com/ I know some people (myself included) would need to take a day off work in this case. Would you be more or less interested and available to go if that was the case?

I am coming in on Easter weekend, April 4. Planning for a week in the Cambridge area, and a week in Ottawa.

Maybe we can accommodate that. April 11th, 12th and 18th look OK on my calendar, IF my employer doesn't ask me to help with the annual tradeshow.

Ross, are Sundays still bad for you, ie: not April 12th?

Sorry Mike, I missed your question:

Sundays are difficult - I play 3 then take one off at my steady Brunch gig (11 - 2:30), but I also regularly play weddings and other functions, so that's always a crap-shoot.

Tentatively count me in for now...

Mark your calendars, we are on for Saturday, April 11! We'll meet at the Peppermill Grill nearby for lunch, then head over to see the car collection. (Courtland is about 12 minutes drive from Tillsonburg.)
