Getting ready to start working on the car again. I was going to do body and paint this winter but I think I’m going to put that off for another year. Plans are to finish the air conditioning, re gear the rear end to 3:55, rear disk brakes, helper bags for towing, and aftermarket wheels and tires.

I'm used to a different offset but those have a retro look with a modern wheel and look great. they will definitely fit with the rest of the build just right. Thumbs-up!

I'm planning on switching out rearends for 3:55 gears and disk breaks. I'm also thinking about going up a wheel size, these look really small on the car.

What size is the rim you are test fitting? I like the size of the wheel you have. With a decent tire they will fill out the wheel well just right. Just my 2 cents Also what rear axle for the disc brake set-up? Thanx for the insightful thread, and great work on Grampas car.
