Last year there was some discussion and pics posted on the EZBoard of a couple salvage yards just north of Brighton, Co that had a bunch of older Mopars. There were even some satellite pics posted. Anyone member the names or have any info on them? I am in Brighton for the next couple days and forgot to look into this before I left.

Well I have it bookmarked in google world and I think the coordinates are 40.032074, -104.977574 If those work you will find the yard is a bit to the west of Brighton and a little north. The yard is about 11 miles according to Google World.

Bill I thought yard looked familiar from the satelite shots, but no Mopars when we got there! The yard on the frontage yard was 80's and up the one behind it was all trucks and Jeeps.
We hit 2 other yards, Seven Sons and Speedway. I have a bunch of pics I will post later tonite. Seven Sons had some good stuff but were more the crotchity old guys that don't really want to sell anything??? Several things weren't for sale and I even got scolded for trying to walk over and look at a couple vehicles. The stuff he did price to me was about double what I would have expected. $125 for a hood, and $200 for discs.
Speedway was just the opposite! Great stuff, lots of it, very easy going, reasonable prices, helpful and willing to BS awhile. I got a nice washer bottle for my 69, $10 with pump NO cracks. Hope to go back tomorrow and get a deck lid for $65 and maybe a disc brake setup $100! and a couple more small items. Not a lot of room to haul stuff back in the RV!
Both places were dominantly C & A body for the 60's-70's Stuff. A couple E, and few B, some M, and a couple Sweptline Trucks. Barely got to see trucks at Speedway, running out of time.
I will get pics up later tonite I hope. Salvaging car parts is a great way to spend my vacation!

Hey Scott! While you're out there, find me a 72 2dr Imperial and Stevo needs some 50/50 split seats for his Po' Lara! And don't forget the free shipping!

hey that was me that posted that. I already posted on the other board but here's my number. 720-987-3735. you alrady hit the good ones. In front of Speedway is another one. They are not too friendly but ask for somthing in perticular like a 68 coronet k frame and they'll let you in to look around. Also know of a place with lots of complete cars off i76 closer to Denver. It's close to the flea market so if you have family to drag around you can drop them there(it's huge) bert

One of the great parts of my day job is that I'm on the road all day. I've discovered three old yards that haven't been picked over. The bad part of my day job is that my boss frowns on me spending all day picking parts while he's paying me to fix peoples stuff.
