Hey guys, just saw a 70 ragtop (not sure if it was Newport or 300), but it was silver, with cop wheels on it . . . the commercial was for a GPS unit (Garmin I think) and the "star" of commercial was that tall Asian BBall player ! Course the STAR was the Cbody if you ask me ! heh heh heh . . . . happy tv watching !

Yeah I saw that too , I was going to post about it but I was'nt sure what year the Chrysler was but I'm pretty sure it's a 300. It's got the hide away headlights thats what made me think it was a 300. but I thought they were road wheels . No matter just good to see a C-body on TV not getting wrecked!!! Arlen

It's been a while since I saw that commercial, but if I remember correctly, it looked like he'd have a tough time fitting in the car if the top was up.

Hey thanks for the link to the commercial ! I thought perhaps it might be on the web !!! Yuppers, it is 1970 300 Ragtop (well at least the grille is !) . . . and the wheels are the cop wheels ! Looks great ! Can't help but wonder how much MORE COOL it would have been using my 300HURST ragtop ! heh heh heh . . . . .

Heya Robert . . . .um, yes I still have the ragtop. Seems that the CBody purchasers are sketchy at best (no offense to any CBody purchasers out there . . . ), at any rate she is parked for the winter - had 8" of snow last night, but warm enough to melt the stuff ! Hope all is well where you are !
