Glen is right: I, too, remember those spacers on Q-Jet-equipped GM vans. Yes, they ae the right diameter and will definitely fit. You might get one from a junkyard or from the GM dealer if your stainess steel project doesn't work out.
Ya,know,I had a MP intake and an edelbrock 625 w/elec. choke and an MP ign. before my new system,and that thing would fire right up and go to idle without even touching the throttle.That ole 340 would crank right up to a 6800 valve floatin run and then it would sit and idle with great vaccum and off idle throttle responce was great.I think you made a great choice.Speaking of changing hoses,I've got the magnabraid stainless coverings on my heater hoses and i want to replace the hoses .Are these3/4 and 5/8 ? I havent changed these in such a long time i dont remmember the size.Glen
