One of you '70 Fury guys near Saginaw, Michigan has got to buy this baby. How cool would it be to drag it behind your vert, especially if you repainted it to match your car!
I never owned a Chrysler boat, but last year I sold a Lund tri-hull with a 45 hp chrysler outboard on it. I asked my Chevy friend Dan why his boat had a Mercury outboard instead of a Chevy.
Anyone who thinks their "C" barges suck for fuel mileage, you should see how much one of those things drank on a hundred mile trip. These were very tempermental motors, you definately had to know how to tune them properly, and breakdowns were plenty, mostly carb problems.Good motors otherwise.Glen

Jeesh Glen, I had a 70, it was a great motor. Never gave me a stitch of trouble, pushed that ol' Chrysler Hull along pretty good! (40 MPH) But going on a 100 mile trip, you're not supposed to go WOT! Ask my Brother inlaw about that. . . He burned 300 gallons in 150 miles. Got the wind blown look in my hair. . .
My parents still have the boat, and i am gonna get the buffer out soon and shine 'er up as that gel coat sure take a hit in the sun.Does anyone know what other kinds of recreational vehicles chrysler ever got into, snowmobiles, dirtbikes, etc.Im sure they probably had a few prototypes of some made that never made it to production.Glen
There is a guy running around Missouri with a 57 Fury and tows one of those boats with fins added to it to match the car! I need to try and snap a picture of it this year. I always forget when I see it.
