2 or 3-speed motor?
I fixed my 3-speed but haven't tried the 2-speed version yet. The 3-speed has a contact switch under the gear-case cover that gets bent. Thus no park function. The 2-speed is inside & you have to drill the rivits to separate the gear case. I've got one to look at here when I have time & see what it takes.
I had the same problem with my 69 300, the wipers wouldn't park at all, they would stop any where on the windshield as soon as the switch was thrown. (3 speed). i was told that the "parking feature" had burned out. I went to the boneyard, picked up a used unit , installed it, works great to this day.
Had the same prob on mine when I got it... on the 3 spd motor the plate that comes off contains the park mech... there used to be a package from MoPar to replace the plate. Had to "un-solder" the wires and solder to the new plate when installed. I had on NOS package for this fix. If I can find it, I'll post the part number. Maybe you will get lucky at a dealer or swap meet.

Thanks for looking for the part # I will watch for it! I looked to see if the switch under the plate was bent but that doesn't seem to be the problem, I'll be at Carlisle, maybe someone will have one there.

I have the same problem with mine on my '70, but it's not the motor, linkage, or the trans. It's the switch. I just have not replaced mine yet, although I have had the new switch for two years.
