went to the local pick-a-part yesterday and there was a 70 4dr n code fury nice grill with fold away headlights still on it. Even the headlight motor was still there. Got the whole setup for $43 . One of my better scores lately and it'll look good on my vert. Anyone know if a 4dr windshield is the same as a 2dr? Bert

Yes coupe, convertible, and 4dr hardtop windshields are the same. Sedans use different glass. All are available new from your local glass guy & pretty reasonable, too.

Are you guys sure about convertibles? I'm almost certain the windshields on a vert are taller and the side glass has a slighly different contour to fit the roof weather strip. I seem to remember a discussion from a couple years ago where Brent (Pewtermonaco) listed the differences (at least for '70's). Also all the verts had vent windows.
Not sure on the '70's, but another C body friend (a '67 Fury nut) needed windshields for a '67 Fury I 2 door post and a '67 Fury III wagon. They were not available at a regular windshield shop so he had to order them through Iowa Glass. They weren't cheap, but he got them after 2 months and installed them himself.
I checked on my '68's and the 2 door fasttop and hardtop and convertible glass are not only available from PPG, but stocked locally!
